About this chapter.
Photography is how I let my creative side out, and it keeps me sane. A Sony Alpha comes with me when I travel: I like keeping proper memories of my journeys, and some photos make it into my portfolio. I share photos on Instagram, and most of my portfolio lives on 500px.
I like trying creative things from time to time: videos where I play with ideas, angles and editing, a tech and career podcast and, for a while, DJing.

I have been taking photos for some years now. I love documenting my adventures and keeping the memories sharp, and a good frame still makes my day. My favourites end up on 500px.
Now and then I try new ideas for videos: b-roll, angles, editing. I used to post vlogs on my YouTube channel, which is still live, and I still like making things for social media. One TikTok passed 23M+ views.

A tech and career podcast
In 2020 I made Advice Collection, a podcast about tech and careers. I wanted to help others, students in tech most of all, and to practise my own skills. It was a great experience: creating, talking, editing, all of it. The episodes are still live, with 2,000+ hours listened, and the podcast made the final of Next Big Vlogger.

At some point I wanted to try mixing, so I bought a DDJ-FLX4 and played with transitions. Then my friends and I threw an après-ski style party, and we had a lot of fun. It was another short experiment with my creative side.
